Where TikTok downloads go on iPhone and Android
TikTok's Save video option and a browser download use different saving paths. On iPhone and Android, the in-app steps are: open the video, tap Share, select Save video, then tap Done. Find the file where your phone normally keeps saved videos and images.
For a browser download, check the destination folder selected in your browser's download settings. The browser sets this folder, and you can change it in those settings.

Why a TikTok download does not work
Start by checking the link you pasted. Open the specific TikTok post and copy its link from Share, rather than copying the creator's profile address. A video post and a photo slideshow return different kinds of files, so check the post type before choosing an item.

Review your videos after saving
Once you have saved your own post, open the file you will actually use. Confirm the video or selected images, and keep the original TikTok link with them. That link gives you a route back to the published post when you need its full context.
