What it measures

What the number means

Your TikTok follower to following ratio is your follower count divided by the number of accounts you follow. Ganicly grades 2:1 healthy, 5:1 strong and 10:1 authority. A ratio of 3:1 to 5:1 is often seen as solid; that spans Ganicly's healthy band and the start of strong.

The checker also shows total profile likes per follower and average recent video views per follower. Your result includes the check time and whether the data is fresh or reused from a check within the past 6 hours.

Ratio grades

What is a good TikTok follower to following ratio?

Ganicly's healthy grade starts at 2:1. That means twice as many followers as accounts followed. At 5:1, the grade becomes strong; at 10:1, it becomes authority. The table shows the full scale, including profiles that follow more accounts than they have followers.

Your result rounds the ratio to one decimal and calculates the unfollows needed to reach the next grade. Treat that figure as an explanation of the math. For a separate check of recent post response, TikTok average likes shows average likes, comments and engagement.

Following limits

TikTok's follow cap and restriction messages

Creators commonly report hitting a limit at 10,000 followed accounts, and following too many accounts too quickly can trigger restrictions. There is no confirmed universal cap or ban threshold.

If following stops, read the exact in-app message first. Check which action it names: TikTok's search page mixes following warnings with messaging and login errors. Then check your following count. A warning about accounts you follow concerns your following count; the checker displays that count alongside your followers to make the distinction clear.

How to read TikTok likes and views per follower

Likes per follower is total profile likes divided by followers. Views per follower is average recent video views divided by followers. The first uses a profile total; the second describes the recent sample. At 1x views per follower, average views equal your follower count.

For video response, use the median rates below. These measure likes plus comments per view, not likes per follower. Choose your follower band before comparing engagement. To examine the view count itself, TikTok views per video shows average views alongside views per follower.

Help center
Do people care about follower to following ratio?

Yes, profile visitors often read the follower ratio as a credibility signal. A 5:1 ratio means five followers for every account followed. Use it to understand profile balance, then check recent video views and response to assess content performance separately.

Why can't I follow more than 10,000 on TikTok?

10,000 is the following cap described in user videos on TikTok's follow-limit search page. Check your following count and the exact warning in the app. The ratio checker compares follower and following counts; it does not change the limits applied to your account.

How many likes should I get with 1000 followers?

1,000 followers does not determine how many likes a video should receive. For an illustrative account with 20,000 total profile likes, the checker returns 20 likes per follower. That uses the profile total. For an individual video, compare its likes with its views.

How many likes per 1000 views on TikTok?

For 1,000 views, the median rates equal 74 to 81 combined likes and comments, depending on follower count. These are engagement totals, not likes-only targets. The under 10k band corresponds to 81 combined interactions; the 10k to 50k band corresponds to 80.

Is 100 likes in 1 hour good?

100 likes from 1,000 views equals a 10% likes-per-view rate in an illustrative example. That exceeds the 8.1% likes-plus-comments median for accounts under 10k. The hour alone does not supply the comparison: check how many views produced those likes before judging the response.

What is a good view to follower ratio on TikTok?

1x means average recent video views equal the follower count. Ganicly's views-per-video tool labels 1x or more wide and below 1x narrow. An illustrative account with 1,000 followers and 2,000 average views has a 2x ratio. Those labels belong to Ganicly's scale.

Does it need my password?

No, a public TikTok username is all this checker needs. It checks public profile counts and recent posts without a TikTok login. Ganicly does not enter your account or take actions there. You can use the result without connecting your account.
